You all know I love to sneak off to tease you while at my in laws house. And while we are at it, I just realized I haven’t introduced myself fully in a long time. And while so many of you come through and stay for a bit, I wanted to say hi! Let’s start here: 1. Hiiiiiiii I’m Honeypotts, also known as Mel and it’s many variations. Melly being the most common. 2. The majority of you guessed right the other day when I asked what my other profession was! I am a lawyer! I graduated law school in the US in 2020, the same year I moved to Spain. 3. While my law degree didn’t transfer to Spain in the traditional sense, after a long wait to get my residency here, once I did, I finally snagged myself a job as a corporate lawyer in an international company. 4. And yes, I’m a lucky American that was able to get out and immigrate to another country! Spain is beautiful, great to its residents and the people are beyond wonderful! I love that daily I work with, hang out with, and interact people from all over the world. 5. I grew up in the Philippines, spending most of my childhood split between there and California, before moving to Kentucky after college. 6. My parents are Christian missionaries, so yeah I grew up with a lot of shame around sex, feeling sexy, and my sexual desires. 7. It only took a divorce and the determination to break away from that shame to have a lot of fun starting in my late 20’s to get to where I am today. 8.
