being a church missionary shouldn’t be such an asexual experience. being a church member shouldn’t be either. sex should be celebrated so much more than it is, and the way the church teaches us about sex makes me so sad. i hope that one day there will be a sexual revolution within more conservative religions, and people will realize that sex isn’t dirty or bad. as a church member, i was told sex is scary. i stopped masturbating when i joined the church, and looking back now, i was never even told a good reason why not to masturbate. the god i believe in knows it’s important for us to feel pleasure, and be able to have a deep physical connection to others’, regardless of our sexual orientation, or relationship status. if i had to be a missionary again, this is what i would wear, because if i am not able to truly pick my religion, what i will do after i graduate high school, or who i will marry, at least let me choose what i wear on my mission.
